I am a real film buff, to the extent of repeating myself my dream is to walk the red carpet in Cannes by being part of a team in a movie, I hope the universe will hear me loud and clear ;-).
Sabine is a film and theatre actress based in Luxembourg, she has studied at The Conservatoire and a film school in London, she is a real polyglot and speaks French, Letzebuergisch, German and English. When she contacted me to help her with her branding to create film inspired images for her personal branding portrait, I was more than delighted. The theme inspiration behind the photo shoot was Audrey Hepburn, the clothing for the shoot sourced from vintage and charity shop and Sabine used her accessories.
I used to live in Luxembourg in the late 90s and was well familiar with the locations we could use for the shoot, we wanted something with personality and character, walls with beautiful colour tones, the Grund, the abbey of Clausen were the perfect settings for our shoot. When you work outdoors you are always at the mercy of the weather; I usually plan 2-3 days for the photo shoot, to play around the weather and make sure that my client and I are not soaked by rain unless you specifically want something in the rain (singing in the rain anyone?).
We worked on 3 locations, with three different outfits, for the makeup we relied on the very skilled hands of Lisa from the Beauty Insitute Alena. I admit that we were both completely exhausted at the end of the day, I have followed Sabine, running, moving, walking, I could not stop laughing at the silly faces she came up with. Having done all the groundwork for the preparation of the shoot before meant that we could both just focus on creating the best images for her brand and have fun!
