Does this sound familiar you're at a stage in your life where you're wondering what next? Do you think you've completely forgotten about the woman you've left at the "family house door" 15-20 years ago? What will be the first step you take to reaffirm yourself?
Somedays I to wish, I had woken up earlier to get back to my dreams. I do believe though that everything falls into place at the right time and guess had other priorities.
Setting boundaries about not putting ourselves first is often the choices we make when life interrupts a lifelong dream! So don't beat yourself up because you think you've left it too late, it will never happen!
The first step is to make peace and realign yourself with the woman hidden inside, the one you put at the bottom of the priority list, because you became a mum, a wife, stepped into a very demanding career.
Where ever, you are now, celebrate the past and everything you've learned through your experiences and move on. What good came out of it? You might have become an amazing negotiator having to deal with very argumentative kids, became a master chef at cooking, preparing dinner for your family every night. I know how it can feel when would look back at these years and feel you we're not not 100% present, time just past you by!
There's no switch to turn the time back and start again, make the most of these learning skills you've developed and the woman you became, decide that now is the time to come out of the box, switch career, set up your business, learn new skills, go travelling, become a yoga teacher. What ever the ambition you have don't let anyone decide for you and take control.
If you really don't know where to start, create a dream board on Pinterest it will help you developing a vision for your direction and make you feel wonderful just looking at it!
